The 4th Annual SLO Tour charity golf tournament will be held this year at Monarch Dunes Golf Course in Nipomo on April 28, 2007. The 1:00pm Shotgun Start tournament benefits the Maxine Lewis Memorial Shelter, part of the
Economic Outreach Commission of San Luis Obispo County.
Every night there are between 2,500 and 4,000 people in need of a place to sleep in San Luis Obispo County. The Maxine Lewis Shelter can only help a percentage of these people. Many nights they have to turn people, including women and children, away because they do not have the facilities to accommodate large numbers of people. SLO Tour helps by raising funds so they can build more beds and improve their facilities.
You can participate by being a principle sponsor of the event or coming out to play a round of golf at the beautiful new Monarch Dunes Golf Course.
