"Kelsi Kelser alone dropped seven strokes. A lot of that can be contributed to kids playing in the summer. We have great juniors programs in the summer." Watters said when her golfers start hitting below 50 in their nine-hole tournaments their interest in the game really gets interesting. That sign of consistant play leads her golfers to become more focused on improving their game. Watters hopes that improved play gets one or more of her girls into the CIF Playoffs. Last year, only two golfers from the league moved on to the playoffs. This year Watters is hoping that there will be more spots available for PAC-7 teams, since the league is so large. Arroyo Grande currently has a 7-1 overall record and 4-1 in PAC-7 duals.
