That compares to 510 homes sold in July 2005. While home sales slowed, the median price rose in July. The median - the statistical point where half of homes sold for more and half for less - was $541,500 last month, a 3.1 percent increase from the previous year when the median was $525,000. The median price was $580,500 in June, a month when 381 homes were sold. DataQuick, which provides data on new, resale and attached and detached homes and condominiums, is just one source of sales and home price information in the county.
